About us
We live a preparedness lifestyle on a mountain homestead. We know the work it takes to keep things running smoothly—and how hard it can be to find the right tools and gear.
We raise a few small animals. We garden, forage, hunt, and do some primitive camping. We enjoy Jeep'n, hiking, backpacking, and cooking. We also have to be diligent about fire mitigation and safety.
We need to know what to do when we come face-to-face with a mountain lion or bear. And believe us, being one-on-one with a mountain lion will shake you up!
Our preparedness lifestyle has led to a life focused on self-sufficiency. This prepper website is our way of sharing our life lessons.
What's your story?
You may not be actively prepping. You may not be a homesteader, gardener, or hunter. We try to make everything on here relevant to someone who's taking steps to be more self-sufficient.
Some of the things we share may be more tailored to someone who's just learning to be self reliant — while others may be geared toward tactical survival. Whatever the case, we live a life of constant preparedness and these are the things we've learned.
